Download desktop apps

Choose macOS or Omarchy/Linux. BloomMD works locally with your Markdown files.

1. Choose your platform

Pick the build that matches your computer.

Apple Silicon · arm64

macOS

For Macs with an Apple chip. Open Markdown files and folders directly on your computer.

Download DMG

After downloading

Open the DMG and move BloomMD to the Applications folder.

On first launch, use right-click → Open.

Arch Linux · x86_64 or aarch64

Omarchy / Linux

For Omarchy 4 and other Arch-based systems. Choose your computer's architecture.

x86_64 · Intel/AMDaarch64 · ARM64

Not sure? `uname -m` shows your architecture.

After downloading

Install the package with:

sudo pacman -U ./bloommd-desktop-<version>-<arch>.pacman

The download already contains the correct version and architecture in its filename.

Then start BloomMD with:

bloommd-desktop

2. Start BloomMD

Open a Markdown file or folder directly in BloomMD.

You can also open files and folders with this URI scheme:

bloommd://open?path=/home/<user>/notes.md

Optional: automation tools

Separate native binaries are available for local Wiki checks, CI and controlled integrations. A normal OpenClaw agent does not need them.
